This blog gets a lot of google hits from people looking for a Works Cited entry for this or that. Generally, these people fundamentally don't get the concept of a Works Cited list (if that's you: here you go).

But today I got the best search string ever: "fortune cookie works cited."

O grad student (and I have no doubt that you are a grad student), good luck with that. I'm pretty sure the MLA hasn't nailed that one down yet.

That's a good one. Shoot, I never get searches like that.
Once I got "I feel this vast sorrow" Yikes.
Hoping all is well with you! nv

Wow, I wonder what you did to deserve that search string.

It also makes me wonder how difficult it would be to leave people messages through the search strings that show up in their Sitemeters. For example, today: "Margaret, are you grieving over goldengrove unleaving?" Tomorrow: "Leaves like the things of man, you, with your fresh thoughts care for, can you?"

It seems just difficult enough that I think it's the kind of prank I would want credit for.
